Part IV: Module I
"Blueprint: Entrapment"

I see you are here because you've proven via action you care.

But what if I told you the fastest way to sabotage everything you’ve worked for is so simple to achieve?

You might have been saying beforehand you want a real change...

...but your actions might be screaming: “I’m fine with failure.”

If you’re still clinging to single-use plastics, you’re actively choosing pollution over progress.

And if you want to guarantee your ecological future fails, just keep doing what millions of others are doing mindlessly as we speak.

Want to sabotage yourself and the campus? Let me show you how it's done.

Let's face it...

Plastic water bottles, coffee cups, food wrappers — it’s all about convenience.

But let me ask you: at WHAT cost...?

Understand that every single piece of plastic you toss in the bin is going to outlive YOU, your children, and your grandchildren.

The numbers speak for themselves:

Only 9% of all plastic waste ever produced has been recycled. The rest? It’s sitting in landfills, oceans, and even your food.
(National Geographic)

Plastic takes 450 years to decompose—meaning that water bottle you just tossed will still be around in the year 2474.

Convenience feels good for five minutes but costs the planet for centuries.

Just like the daily CHEAP DOPAMINE you consume to escape reality.

Every disposable plastic item you use screams, “I’m okay with destroying ecosystems for my own ease.”

Are you content with living with this guilt?

"But I’m good — I recycle” ? That's your unlimited use guilt-free card?

Let me tell you that...

Most of what you toss into the recycling bin  actually doesn’t get recycled. Recycling is broken, inefficient, and often an excuse to avoid real change.

More than 90% of plastics aren't recycled. Most end up incinerated, in landfills, or dumped carelessly in the ocean.
(Science Advances)

Plastic can only be recycled 1-2 times before it degrades into useless and toxic microplastics.
(UNEP)

If you get shot and somebody offers you a band-aid, saying "you'll be fine"...

...would you be infuriated?

Or perhaps hopeless?

Relying purely on recycling is the same. It’s not solving the problem — it’s just kicking the can down the road.

Quick meals, takeout containers, plastic cutlery... You name it.

They make life easy, right? Yet every burger wrapper and soda lid is contributing to a  waste crisis...

...that’s spiraling out of control. And the campus isn't a safe haven, either.

I'm going to get real with you.

The global fast-food industry generates 2.5 million tons of plastic waste annually.
(UNEP)

Over two-thirds of marine litter is made up of plastic, much of it linked to packaging.
(The Ellen MacArthur Foundation)

Just keep in mind that every time you happily unbox your McDonalds, you're basically admitting...

“I value my 10-minute meal more than my future self-dignity.”

It's true that disposable razors might feel cheap and convenient...

...but they bring a hidden massive environmental cost.

Billions of them end up in landfills every year, and they’re not going anywhere. That's the size of your outskirts apartment building.

The US alone discard over 2 billion disposable razors per year — most of which are non-recyclable and go straight to landfills. (Statista)

Your monthly supply of razors for a quick bath shave is another small step toward environmental destruction.

Are you running a pollution marathon?

You've surely bought that compostable plastic, thinking it's the magic safety net...

Quite frankly, I will have to disappoint you.

Realize that these flashy labels are the latest clever marketing gimmick.

Most require industrial composting facilities to break down.

And I will be the villain if I speak out loud...

...that such facilities barely exist.

Only 5% of compostable plastics are actually composted properly due to lack of infrastructure.
(WWF)

What happens in real life nature is the fact that biodegradable plastics break down into microplastics.

Those pollute the soil and the water you're drinking.

Falling for greenwashing is the fastest way to feel good while making zero actual impact. It's cheap dopamine for the self-proclaimed "eco-activists".
